Stomach Ache, Vomiting After Eating Ice Cream. Stomach Flu?
my son ate some ice cream the kind that is dispensed from a machine within an hour he started to have a tummy ache then he vomited so then he laid down to sleep for about an hour and vomited in his sleep i woke him and he was very incoherant so i called 911 they swore it was just the flu and that was it but today he is perfectly fine i want to contact health dept. but it is a holiday any response would be great.

This is good that today he is fine,so no need to worry.
Give him plenty of fluids and soft bland diet Avoid all kind of fried and junk food.

Hi I have gone through your complaints.
There is no need to worry about. It can be due to gastric irritation and the vomiting itself will cause incoherence as there will be increased intracranial tension while during vomiting episode.
If your child doesn't have any loose stools or abdominal pain then there is no need to worry about it. If any further vomitings, then you need to give Him some anti emetics .
