Whenever I eat or drink, mainly when I eat thought, my stomach bloats and I have difficulty breathing . I take dexilant for acid reflux but it doesnt seem to be helping. When it gets bad I start burping a lot which helps with my breathing so I know its gastro related. What can I do to CURE this problem? I am only 21 and I have a fear of food now.
hello...acid reflux happens a lot due to stress.. try being calm and relaxed.. do yoga to improve digestion..go for walk daily..eat small meals every 2-3 hours.. avoid milk and wheat as these can cause severe acidity.. start your day with fruits.. have boiled salads for lunch and dinner.. along with jowar/ragi/ brown rice/quinoa with veggies.. keep dinner light like soup and veggies or fish.. do not lie down immediately after eating.. do not exercise after eating..drink green tea 3-4 cups/day.. have yakul or any other probiotic drink / capsule daily..sleep well and be positive and happy..
