Hello and welcome to HCM
You have mentioned that you experience pain in chest and ribs. The pain increases on swallowing (drinking) and inhaling.
Pain associated with muscle movement (deglution and inhaling muscles) indicate a
muscular pain or a disease disorder affceting
nerve which supply these muscles. You can use a muscle relaxant-
serratiopeptidase in the shoulder region.
Secondily pain localized to this region is also seen in gastro-esophageal reflux disease or acidity in layman language.
The gas causes discomfort and pain in region above the umblicus.
Sleeping late may aggravate this situation.
Try some life modification measures- sleeping early, avoiding fatty & spicy foods at night, avoiding beverages like coffee, tea 7 alcohol at night.
Keep your head raised while sleeping.
Consult your physician for clinical examination, investigations and management.
Thank you and take care
