Stomach Pain Due To Unable To Pass Stools, Bad Breath. Help From Intake Of Prescribed Laxative And Omeprazole. Continued Bad Breath. Help
I recently went to a doctor for stomach pains from not having a bowel movement for several days. and my breath was unbearable. after taking a laxative the pain went away and was prescribed (Omeprazole 40 mg. it's been 2 weeks and my breath keeps getting worst, it even makes the car & rooms smell. I also have been drinking Collin cleaner but nothing helps
I suggest you might another proper clinical review. Bad breath could originate from the head, nose and throat sphere, from the lungs and from the gastro intestinal tract. Chronic sinusitis and other infections in the ENT sphere could lead to bad breath. In the lungs, an infection such a lung abscess, at times not known to the patient, could have bad breath as the main revealing symptoms. In this case, a chest X ray usually gives a clue to diagnosis. Poor digestion could cause bad breath too. A stool exam, clinical evaluation and an abdominal ultrasound could be very useful. Psychological component is an important consideration too. I suggest a proper evaluation by an internist. Kind regards,
Bain LE, MD.
