Stomach Pain, Gas, Diarrhea After Eating Ice Cream, Usually Eating Less Fat Content Diary Products. Am I Partial Lactose Intolerant?

I drink 1% milk, eat cheese in recipes, eat yogurt, and can tolerate various dairy products, but have noticed over the past several months that if I eat "regular" ice cream from a local creamery, I begin to have stomach pains, gas, and diarrhea...is it possible that I could be "partial" lactose intolerant or have I become so accustomed to "lighter" dairy products, my body has a harder time processing "regular" dairy products?

Hello! It may be possible that you may have become intolerant to milk and milk products. Actually with age the enzyme lactase required for digestion of lactose present in milk decreases and may completely disppear so a person becomes intolerant to milk. I hope this will help you
