Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Once medication has been started it shall take some time for the stool to become normal and the stomach ache to go. You should continue the course as advised by the doctor and not discontinue. In case the pain persists then a review would be better along with a stool routine examination.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son an early recovery.
