Stopped Cigarettes And Smoking Weed. Have Mood Swings And Fight With People. Solution?
Hi i gave up smoking 3 days ago...i went completely cold turkey but i went off cigarettes and smoking weed and now im having really bad mood swings and fighting with loved ones...i know you dont condone drug use but would it be ok to not smoke cigarettes and maybe smoke some weed through a pipe just take the edge off and slowly ween myself off the weed after i get over the nicotine withdrawl?
Cigarettes contains tobacco. Nicotine is main alkaloid of tobacco. It is highly dependent substance. When stopped it has potential to cause withdrawal syndrome. Symptoms like irritability, mood swings, impaired cognition, poor concentration, anxiety, restlessness etc are commonly seen. These symptoms may even result in failure of deaddiction. Try to relax yourself by relaxation exercises or breathing exercises. If symptoms persist then visit a Psychiatrist for expert opinion. Nicotine replacement chewing gums are available like Nicorex which can replace deficient nicotine and can be easily tapered off.
Thanks
