Stopped Taking Prednisone For Lupus. Pain In Collar Bone, Painful To Take Deep Breaths. Due To Lupus?

My husband of 24yrs old was diagnosed with Lupus 4yrs ago, he did not continue his medication after 1yr (prednisone?), just this week he has been feeling a pain by his right collar bone, its moved down to his lungs. He claims it is painful when he take deep breaths or when he lays he cannot breath as well...I would love to hear your expert advice as well as where in Orange County, CA I could take him to get checked. Is this pain connected to his lupus? (He has not done any heavy lifting recently either)

Thanks for consulting
From your description it seems that no trauma or fall is there. It seems that It is due to Lupus. But artheritic changes are reported in it. Pain is in acromioclavicular joint or sterno clavicular joints. And chondorcostal junctions involvement which is late finding. Any how deep breathing exercises will help after subsiding pain by NSAIDs. Take tab. VoveranSR once a day for five days.It will do.
