Stressed, Lack Of Sleep, Tender Nipples, Breasts. On Iud. Advise?
I'm 32 mother of two toddlers. My two year old is complex special needs and requires alot of attention. I'm extremely stressed and lack sleep. I just finished my period about 4 days ago, but the last 3 days I've had extremely tender nipples and breasts. I'm on the IUD and I'm not pregnant. Could stress make my breasts so tender? Or could it be something else, and should I get this checked out? Thank u
Hi, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since period finished and I U D is there so no chances of any pregnancy , however tenderness in nipples and breast are due pregnancy but may be also due to as, Infection ( inflammation) Lactation ( during lactation mild blunt injury may cause tenderness) Anxiety is the another cause of tenderness. Insomnia ( lack of sleep is one more cause) I think you need not to go any where as it seems all are normal. Take full rest and 1-2 tablets for anxiety , that's all Good luck. Dr. HET
