I've been stressing a lot lately, about school and other stuff. I don't keep track of my period but its been jumping the past 6 months. That is also when I around the time I became sexually active. I did not get my period the past month, and have been cramping for about 2 weeks. I've also had a white creamy discharge, and it is now starting to itch down there. I'm becoming very paranoid thinking I might be pregnant.
I've been really tired lately but that might be due to the fact I hardly sleep, I don't eat whole meals. But that's the average college person's life.
Hi there, that is a good question. Many college students do not have sufficient amount of sleep. They are tired during the day. They are also prone to depression since inadequate sleep decreases the production of serotonin transporter in the brain. It is a serious issue and it can affect your learning. You should check to see if you are pregnant and/or you have any infection as you say. I wish you a good health.
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
It appears that you are in the midst of a stressful eriod and that you are having difficulty coping up. The fear about pregnancy seems to be a major reason behind your stress. Also, poor sleep habits and skipping meals may also be contibuting to added stress and anxiety.
I would advise you to see a gynecologist for the irregular periods and the vaginal discharge. I would also advise you to regularize your eating and sleep habits. Take some time off to relax and unwind yourself. Also, practice safe and protected sex, in order to avoid the chances of pregnancy of contracting STIs.
Wish you all the best.
