Strong Pulsing Head Sensation, No Pain. . What Could This Be?

my boyfriend is in a band..he is the singer and he screams often and forcefully. He has recently been complaining of a small pulsing sensation on the side of his head. He says it is nonpainful..just a strong pulse is felt..what could this be?

he has anxiety and sometimes complains of palpitations that worsen post-alcohol consumption...the pulsing is new, comes and goes, is in same spot in right lateral posterior area...painless...first noticed morning after he sang in concert
Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Aashish Raghu's  Response
Welcome to Healthcare Magic
Kindly get him to a Doctor to rule out high Blood pressure and also look for what is causing it. Palpitations at rest is no issue to be taken for granted. He needs to stay off smoking and alcohol as it could be dangerous for him. Anxiety can also explain the symptoms but if it is recent with headaches it could point to existing pathology. How is his vision, does he sweat a lot, any tingling and numbness. If needed he needs to stay away from performing till he can get to a Doctor.
