Strong Random Pains In My Heart, Please Suggest Me Remedy For It

Strong random pains in my heart? I get random strong pain s in my chest (in my heart) from time to time. What could be the cause of this, is it something i should go to a doctor over? When i get the pains, i get them in my heart and they especially hurt like hell when i take a deep breath in. It usually goes away after about a minute. About me: I am male, 21, very unfit but not obese, average build. Also, I have recently given up smoking, I am off them for nearly 7 weeks now. I use to smoke 20 a day for the last 3 years. But i also use to get these pains when I did smoke. I know i should go to a doctor but i ve had these pains for the last year or two, and its only very rarely. and i am very unfit at the moment. My question is... what are these pains and what are they a result of? hi abbi. ya its exactly the same. so its prob just heart burn. I didn t know what heart burn was but i would imaging thats all i have. Oh and thank you for the person who said quote you are overweight! . Ouch man!

I'm pretty sure I had the same thing. I'm 24 now and since I was 19 I had occasional pains in my heart, maybe once a week. Sometimes it hurt when I went to sleep, I was also not FATFAT but a bit overweight and I wasnt eating right at all. They are gone now though, I only feel them when I put my heart through a lot of pressure. As in if I have a few redbulls when i am out etc. At the time I was worried too but sometimes you can sense when its serious and when its not. I knew the pains were there because I was eating shite and drinking too much but you still worry it might be something worse. I think you will find it you ease back on coffee/redbull/ caffeine things in general the pain will go completely. Also if you do a few runs, I know its so boring and a total pain but if you do some gentle runs, even once a week for 15 minutes you would be surprised at the difference. Oh .. if you are thinking of or if you have experimented with drugs as a lot of people your age do , be wary of cocaine/ecstasy drugs, they will rapidly increase your heart rate and if ure heart is a little weaker that it should be from bad diet and lack of excercise then it could cause you damage. Just incase.. ! Anyway .. small bit of excercise, ease up on things like butter and grease..cholesterol can clog your arteries which is the general cause for heart pains. Anyway I am pretty sure that you will be fine, I think you are pretty sure as well just a little worried. But I'll say what everyone else here says 'SEE A DOCTOR!' but I reckon it will turn out to be nothing.
