Hello, Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.
The loss of vision is a serious symptom. This symptom can occur in Temporal arteritis. In this, there is a possibility that it causes the vision problems. I recommend that she get seen by a Doctor as soon as possible.
The Doctor will do an ESR and then a biopsy of the artery which will help confirm the diagnosis. Once diagnosed, you will need to start your daughter on prednisone which will help.
Wish you a speedy recovery. Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further. Dr Vignan
