Sudden Pain In Temple And Feeling Of Pain Moving Towards Back. Could This Be A Clot?

Laying in bed reading and I had a sudden pain in my left temple. It hurt to touch the skin, not even any pressure. It felt slightly swollen, but could be my imagination. After about 5-10 minutes the pain was not as bad and eventually went away, but as that was happening it felt like the pain was moving toward the back of my head about a half inch over my ear until it reached about an inch back from my ear. My left elbow feels funky, but again, imagination? Could this be a clot, can a clot move that fast? Do I need to go to the Dr., and how soon? Thank you for your help.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you experienced. This is no way represents or resembles a clot. I am not too sure of the exact cause of your pain but it is certainly not a clot. I will not suggest immediate medical attention, but if the pain should recur and any other symptoms reported like weakness, loss of sensation, etc, please seek medical attention at that time.
This could have most likely been just an incidental occurrence.

I hope you find this helpful. Thank you so much for using our services and please do feel free to ask for clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health.
