Sudden, Severe Pain In The Vein Across Right Foot, Painful To Touch And Walk. Help

All of a sudden in the middle of the day I felt a pain in my foot, didn't really worry about it untill I got home and it started hurting extremely bad, it hurts to put weight, can only put a little weight to walk on. I realized that the pain was coming from a vein running across my right foot which was raised a bit, it hurt to touch it and it hurts to walk on it. Getting scared, have no idea what it is, please help.

Hello,

By history its seems to be thrombophlebitis of the vein.
In simple terms it may be the inflammation of the vein.
It may be caused by any trauma to the vein followed by infection or
Any obstruction due to clot formation, may have been induced by trauma.
Give rest to the part.
Hot fomentation.
Application of topical gel reduce the clot and inflammation.
