Two days ago, my husband stood up at work, my son and him were in the office and was unable to move, shaking, conscience but unable to respond and muscles were very rigid. Looked like some type of seizure that lasted 10-15 minutes. When EMS showed up he finally come out of the seizure like state but very confused on dates, what happened etc. In ER he was aware of his surroundings but would begin to speak and was unable to voice his thoughts. This continues through out the day. Test were done, but when they preformed an EEG another one of the seizure like episodes occurred again lasting around 45 seconds. Day two he is alert wanting to participate in answering questions from medical staff but once again he knows what he wants to say but unable to voice it. He has been under tremendous and emotional stress from a 35 year marriage with me, separating three weeks ago. Selling the house and buying another for himself, packing. Previous to this serious seizure like event he had four other short 2-10 second symptoms where he was talking or just even going over things he needed to do and couldn't process his thoughts and put to words. Can you offer suggestions as to what is going on. Doctors are saying chronic short-term stress has brought this on, but are ruling out a stroke or seizure. Thank you
