Suffer From Cellulitis. Gall Bladder Removed. Fingernails Stopped Growing. Why?
I've had an infection going since my last surgery 5 months ago. I went to the er last night I knew I had phlebitis again they said it was cellulitis since I haven't had a recent injection. They also said my gallbladder is infected & needs to b removed. My fingernails stopped growing about a month ago & my hand has a bad odor? It's not black & has no open wounds, but I'm worried could this be gangrene?
Hello Welcome to healthcare magic forum. Thank you for your query. I understand your concern regarding your skin problem. You need not to worry about gangrene right now. In gangrene skin color gradually become dark and it is associated with other medical illness. Bad odor always does not mean infection. you need to do hand exercise and take healthy diet. Still it is better to consult dermatologist for proper treatment. You can apply good moisturizer lotion over skin. Infected gall bladder needs to be removed as early as possible. I hope I answered your question. Let me know if you have any further query. Regards
