Hello,
You are 26/F, married one and a half yr back. Since then you have
irregular periods, for which you have taken treatment for 3 mths. After treatment your periods were regular for certain mths and once again you got irregular periods. After 2nd Feb. you got your period on April 19th and it continues till now. As you are not conceiving you consulted a doctor and took
blood test and USG. The scan reveals that - both ovaries are identified and contain small follicles, no
adnexal mass seen, minimal fluid collection seen in the cul de sac. It is assumed that you don't have pain.
You have 2 problems:
1) Basic problem - Irregular Periods
2) Your scan shows that - Minimal fluid collection seen in the cul de sac
For your irregular periods, you need a complete hormone analysis -
Thyroid and Ovarian Hormones, like T3,T4,
TSH and LH,FSH (to assess
hormonal imbalance). Except the fluid collection your scan report is normal. So with results find out other causes of irregular periods and treat the cause. Some times
Contraceptive pills taken for few mths is advised
Regarding fluid collection in the cul de sac (as no other pathology is mentioned in the scan report) it is nothing to worry. Fluid collection in this area is usually not alarming. A diagnostic D&C will be helpful.
If you correct your menstrual irregularities, everything will get alright.
Best wishes for early recovery
