Suffer From Menorrhagia And Dysmenorrhea. Takes Aspirin. Smear With Microcytic And Hypochromatic Cells. Is This Iron Deficiency?

Hello, Scenario- 26y/o female, menorhagia and dysmenorrhea , takes Aspirin 100mg every 3-4 hours during menstruation and for joint pain, Hgb-8 g/dl, Hct-32%, Retic count 1.5%, Erythrocyte count 3.1 x 10/mm, Smear with microcytic an hypochromatic cells, all other labs normal. Is this iron deficiency with risk of bleed from Aspirin, or chronic inflammatory response?

hi.. thanks for using HCM...
you have menorrhagia and developed microcytic hypochromic anaemia..
it is due to iron deficiency..
you need to see a physician for iron supplements with deworming..
see your gynaecologist for treating the cause for anaemia..
