Suffer From Shingles. Blisters In The Groin Area, Waist And Leg. Taking Ezovir. What Is The Further Medication?
I have got shingles started off right side of my groan in the fold of the top of my leg and the hairline. The main big blisters are in the fold. They are around my right side, waist , top of my leg, then continues around to my spine , with a couple of biggish blisters waist height spine area. The first lot of blisters came out Tuesday A.M. I saw my doctor within the first 3 hours. Am on Ezovir. Do i have to wait until AAAAALLLLL the each little spots go to blisters and break. Please Help Me. I cannot get any relief. I am using cold sore cream, c/lotion.

You have been started on the correct medication and in the correct time.You have to complete the course of this medication as advised.It takes 2 to 4 weeks for the blisters to heal.
Since this is known to be painful condition, you can have oral anti inflammatory medication to relieve the pain /burning sensation.A soothing calamine lotion can applied to comfort the area as well.It has to be borne in mind that these treatments are supportive and are only meant to lessen your discomfort due to shingles.
