Suffered Dog Bit, Taken Vaccine. Wound With Pus. No Pain Or Itching. Rabies?
i sufeered a dog bite a month ago and at that time just after the exposure , i was treated with vaccine and recieved adequate doses of human rabies immunoglobulin within 6 hrs of the exposure . now after one month everything is fine but the wound has some pus in it though it does not pain or itch at all are there any chances of me being a rabies victim .. pls im really stressed help me

Hello
welcome to health care magic.
After a dog bite you have taken vaccine and human rabies immunoglobulin..
At the time of dog bite you might not clean the wound properly,,or might be due to poor nutrition you are taking..
If the wound is small and pus is coming take antibiotics after consulting physician..
if the wound is large and pus is coming more consult general surgeon,,he will drain the pus and give you antibiotics..you didn't mention your age..please check the sugar levels in your blood because of absence of pain..
after post exposure prophylaxis chances of getting rabies is almost negligible..
