Suffered From Left Auricular Node, Treated With Antibiotic And Painkiller. Started Swelling Again. Suggest?
my son suffered from left auricular node (just below ear lob) like lymph node swelling six month back. the doctor treated with antibiotic and painkiller at that time. we also took x-ray on doctor's advice. now aftwer six month we can see appearance of similar swelling again below his ear lob. why this may be happening..anything to worry
You didn't mentioned your son's age. He need proper examination for lymph nodes. Generally scalp, face, ear and throat infection leads to enlarged lymph nodes in neck. These are usually non significant and resolves with control in etiology. You shouldn't worry and further evaluation can be done if it increases in size or associated with pain. He may require investigations like routine hemogram. Get well soon.
it means you have chronic silent infection inside the body in the head annd neck area as the infection continue these are lymphnode enlargement yu need to confirm for sinusitis middle ear infections and scalp infection or throat antibiotics will again clear the nodes but get ent consultation to find the cause and treat accordingly for cure
