Suffering From Hoarseness Problem, Had Throat Infection And Sinus Problem. Chances Of Throat Cancer?
I have hoarsness problem since 2 years. Laryngoscopy had done and it was fine.No abnormality noticed.From one year i didnot go through any test and the problem is still same like before no change.Many times i suffered from throat infection and sinus problem.Is there any chance of throat cancer ? DO i need a laryngoscopy again or CT scan of throat. Kindly help me. I am waiting for your responce.
You seem to have a chronic laryngeal problem, we need to go by the following things to give you a permanent cure/ solution:
1. Repeat your laryngoscopic examination just to be sure every six months 2. Get a speach therapist to perform a speach and language evaluation so that we can get a clearer picture of your vocal problem 3. Avoid oily, spicy and high flavoured food/ drink 4. Avoid cigarette/ caffeine and alcohol 5. Consult an ENT who can recommend an anti reflux treatment for you 6. Impress upon your speach therapist to guide you on how to use your voice properly without straining
