Suffering From Black Motion During Pregnancy
HI,I am 26 year old. Right now 23 weeks pregnant . i am having daily black motion which is normal and not a loose motion from last 10 days. Daily taking Iron & calcium tabs. What might be the reason for this black motion. Is it necessary to meet doctor for performing motion test. Please advise

The motions are black when they contain iron or blood.You are having normal motion & not loose or diarrhoea so in your case is because of the Iron tablet you are getting black stools.Just in case if you want to satisfy yourself with a second opinion you can ask your doctor.No need to worry as you don't have symptom of any problem;it is surely because of Iron tablets.
