I am suffering from chest pain for last one month. I have consulted with doctor and tested chest x-ray and all blood test like lipid profile and routine test. All these are normal, except my blood pressure, 110/67. Doctor told me that I am suffering from tension/anxiety as there is a diagnosis of lung cancer of my father in stage 4. He advised me to take alprax 0.25 mg for ten days. I have completed that, but after that my anxiety has increased more thinking the pain my father will get. My fear is that thinking all these I may suffer from a heart attack and my chest pain on both sides continuing. I have again consult a doctor for this. He prescribed me Paxidep 12.5 mg for three days (1 Tab daily at 10 a. m.) after that Paxidep 0.25 mg to continue. With this a tablet like alprax 0.25 mg for good sleep at night to continue. But still I am suffering from the fear that there are something going to happen on my heart or brain.
What should I do?
