Suffering From Chronic Rhinitis And Sinusitis. Enlarged Supraclavicular Lymph Node. Reason?

My friend has a 1 1/2 hard, imoble supraclavicular lymph node. She has suffered from chronic rhinitis and sinusitis for about 6 years without getting any treatment. She observed the enlarged node about 2 weeks ago. I know all these years of self-neglect has hurt her. What do you think has caused this node to behave this way?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
The large immobile supraclavicular lymph node is not likely related to the chronic sinusitis. It is more sinister than that. She needs an urgent Chest consultation,Fine needle biopsy of the node and a general surgical consultation to find some other lesion in the abdomen causing the hard node, esp.kidney and the digestive system.Aproper ENT check up is needed to rule out underlying malignancy in the sinuses or upper respiratory tract.A CT of the sinuses may be needed if in doubt.
