Suffering From Constipation, Pain In Shoulder And Chest. Family History Of Heart Attack. Suggestions?

I have been on and off constipated. Nothing quite works. Fiber powder, milk of magnesia, miralax, etc. Recently I've started having a pain every now and again through the day ranging from my left lower right to my left shoulder and chest. It only lasts a few seconds. But enough to worry me since I have some family history of heart attack and stroke. Any ideas?

Since you are suffering from chronic constipation and almost all kind of laxative haven't worked and also as you have started having pain so I will like to advise to seek the opinion of Gastroenterologist who may advise to undergo colonoscopy to see for any lesion in colon and defecogram to see anything wrong in mechanism of defecation.

Since you have family history of heart attack and you have chest pain and left shoulder you should also get your cardiac checkup
