My mother, aged 43 years, height 5 3,weighs 52 kg. She has been suffering from cough and cold at times.More like nose related issues, wherein her nose itches of sorts when she inhales. Recently, after a detailed study the xray of her chest(PA view) shows :-Infective opacity seen at both side lower zones,Hila are congested, both domes f the diaphragm are regular in outline, castophrenic angles on both sides are clear, cardiac size is normal, trachea seen in midline. The doctor has advised her to get her nose operated. Please advise.
