Suffering From Dengue, Had Fever, Abnormal Platelet Level, Body Pain, Skin Rashes. What Is Wrong?
Sir my father is suffering from dengue,he had a fever and bodypain so on 24 they found positive on dengue and then admitted to hospital. But prblm is nw he dont hv fever and bodypain only red skin rashes and platelet level is 0000 , nw m worrid abt my father.. plz help me is he is ok? When will platelet increase and how can we help

i understand your concern regarding father
dengue is caused by virus there is no specific treatment for that
many management in dengue is tight fluid management and maintain platelet counts avoid any bleeding problems
platlet transfusion is required when platelet fallen below critical level below 20000, other wise only symptamatic treatment is enough
there are two types of platelets available single donor and multiple donor,usually single donor is preferred for transfusion.
you should be worried if there are any bleeding happening any where from body.
