Hi,
its great you continued with your drugs and you do exercise. The tendency with people who take herbal medicines is they tend to belief at some pint in time that diabetes , especially type 2 has been cured, which is wrong, this causes patients later in to develop uncontrolled diabetes, diabetic comas and at times death. The dosages of the herbal medicines are unknown and side effects.
My advice is to stick to the protocols of your physician, continue doing exercise, follow diet recommendations, do your regular control tests as asked and report any side effects to him.
Its not evidence based now, that any of the non conventional conventional products are that perfect. Its true many have beneficial effects. Bt these have to be scientifically studied and coded to ensure appropriate use.
Thanks and hope this helps,
