HI DOCTORS MY WIFE HAS SUFFERED FROM FEVER & COLD WITH MAJOR PAIN IN WHOLE BODY WItH cough. THIS PROBLEM IS SHOWN IN LAST MONTH , AFTER 14 DAYS PREGENANCY MISCOURAGE BY ITSELF , NO ANY MISHAPPENING. AFTER THAT HER HEALTH NOT GOOD. WE ALREADY TEST THE MONTO TEST FOR TB & CHEST XRAY , AND MANY OTHER TESTES. BUT ALL TEST ARE POSITIVE NO SIGN OF TB DISEASES. BUT ESR SHOWN INCREASES BY MARGINALLY THAT IS 30, AND ONE OTHER TEST NAME MAY BE TBISTEIN SOMETHING WHICH IS RELATED WITH FEVER IS ALSO INCREASED THAT IS 182. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO. WE ARE NEWLY MARRIED COUPLE IN APRIL 2012.
Your wife suffered from common cold and cough and is already on the way to recovery. As her Mx test and chest are normal, there does`nt appear to be any cause for concern. The ESR test and the other test (not clearly mentioned but i assume it is TB Elisa) are very nonspecific tests for diagnosing TB. Give her time to recover fully and only if her ill health persists, you should proceed with further investigations.
