Suffering From Foul Odor Thick White Vaginal Discharge. Any Solution?

My name is Wendy L. Hoffman.... I am having some female issues for sure. I have a real bad odor coming from my vagina. I have thick white creamy discharge as well. However, I have no burning or itching around in or near my vulva tho....My question is I have an antibiotic left over here at the house it is sulfamethoxazole 800mg and trimethoprim 160mg. Both medicines are combined into one white oval tablet with the letter IP 272 on the pill. Would that be an ok pill for me to start taking to fight off an infection that I m sure I do have now?

Hello
You are having pelvic inflammatory disease , reasons of this infection may be , these includes.
Bacterial as sexually transmitted disease , urinary tract infection , gynecological infection , fungus infection , candidiasis , etc.
When such patient visit in my clinic I advise them to get in swab examination for culture and sensitivity test ( swab from vaginal discharge). I usually prescribe ciprofloxacin+ tinidazole ( combination pack ) one tablet 2 times in day for 10-14 days or till complete relief.
Also take some frluconazole 150 mg 2 tablet stat.
Local vaginal tablets ( mycostatine or povidone ) , insert these tablet into vaginal orifice and lie down for 1 hour for 5-6 days.
Local hygiene is very much important.
Now a day local vaginal wash solution is also available , use it .
As you mentioned that you are having trimethoprim+ sulphamethoxasole tablet but in my opinion this is not for gynecological infection ( not a choice drug).
