Hi,
Thanks for posting your query to HCM.
"
Lichen planus actinicus" is a skin disease which is basically and mainly exaggerated by by exposure to sunlight. This is a kind of skin problem where there is pigmentation, marks and
redness with flakes are present over sun exposed areas.
To guide you best regarding this condition, I would recommend you to have strict sun protection. Till the time you are not taking care of of the exposure part the things would nit be alright. Even 2 minutes of sun exposure is really bad for this condition. None of the treatment is effective if there is slightest of sun exposure is present.
So you can get from my points that the only and basically important thing is sun protection. This is best done by covering your face with a cloth, wearing a hat or cap, big goggles, repeated application of sunscreen every 3 hourly.
Improvise your diet at best with lot of green vegetables,
Vitamin A containing fruits and salads in your diet.
Follow a good
dermatologist for long term as is the best policy to take care of the problem.
Hope these informations are helpful.
"Wish you good health"
