Suffering From Long Term Dry Itchy Eczema On Feet And Lower Left Leg. How To Get Cured?
Hi, I suffer from long term dry very itchy eczema to the tops of my feet and lower left leg. I have used hydrocortisones in the past but don t seem to heal the eczema. I have been using a variety of emollient creams and moisturizers,. The eczema is not improving. Can you help.
I can understand the concern for peeling of skin all over your feet and eczema.
For the itchy eczema on lower left feet, in my opinion it appears to allergic dermatitis. I suggest you to apply medium potency steroid cream application because are best effective in these condition. I would have opted for either mometasone or Fluticasone or cortisone cream. Do not pinch, pop or scratch or een touch the area unnecessarily as it can cause aggravation of the rash. Wear cotton clothes and cotton inner garments which will give a soothing feeling to the skin. Stay away from extreme of environment such heat and humidity.
For the part of dry skin: This is due to the fact that there is accumulation of dead skin after any kind of long illness. After every type of illness there is mild to moderate peeling of dead skin.
Do not worry about dead skin and it is not an internal tissue. This is a normal process which is seen in all persons and the skin peeling is quite normal. You can apply plenty of moisturizers over the affected area for 5-6 times a day. Hope it relieves your tensions regarding the peeling skin.
I HAVE MAY PATIENTS TRETED LIKE THIS THIS IS DUE TO FOOD PROTEINS AS ON E OR MORE OF FOOD PROTEINS START REACTING WITH BODY PROTEINS TO CAUSE ALLERGIES GET BLOOD SERUM TESTS FOR SPECIFIC ANTIBODIES FOR MILK WHEAT POTATO OR FOOD YOU EAT OR EXTERNAL PROTEINS YOU ARE IN CONTACT WITH AVOID THE PROTENS YOU ARE ALLERGIC TOI THINK YOU WILL GET BENEFIT
