Suffering From Migraine. On Dolopar. Does This Medicine Affect The Menstruation, Pregnancy? Side Effects?

Hello. My name is Pankaj. My friend is suffering from Migraine problems. Whenever there is sever headache she pops a pill of Dolopar. It gives her temporary relief. Sometimes the dosage go upto having 4 pills a day. Are there any side effects on the menstruation cycle? Does frequent use of this drug will cause any complications during pregnancy? What are the adverse effects on the health?

Hi,

Your friend is taking a safer drug, Dolopar (Paracetamol) to get relieved with her headache. It does not have any direct effects on menstrual cycle. Also it's frequent use does not cause complications during pregnancy. However, it should be cautiously used in certain conditions like those with liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction etc. Please consult your doctor to do correct dosage planning since increasing dosage limits may have some other side effects.
