Suffering From Pink Eye. Prescribed Gentamicin Sulfate. Dosage?

Hello, I came down with pink eye a few days ago. My doctor prescribed me Gentamicin Sulfate 0.3%, 1-2 drops twice a day. But the online information I've seen says to take 1-2 drops every 4 hours (or even more frequently for severe cases). I am I taking it often enough to work or should I ask my doctor about taking it more frequently? Thank you.

Hello,
Putting the drops every 4 hours is more than sufficient.
You are not going to get any extra benefit if you start installing drops in your eyes every now and then.
Thanks
