Welcome to Healthcare Magic
Polymyositis is a disorder affecting most muscles of the body mainly due to antibodies. There may be help in immunomodulatory therapy like high dose steroids which are usually prescribed. Other immunomodulator drugs may also help. Isometric exercises, aerobics and weight bearing also help in improvement of symptoms. Homeopathy and acupuncture may also have a role in management as both aspects of the practice include immunomodulation.
