Thanks for using HCM.The intervertebral discs in the lumbosacral area from L2 to L5 appear to be having age related changes with mild indentations on the spinal cord sac.The sacralisation of the L5 vertebrae means it is conjoined with the sacrum, ther L 5 spinal nerve roots appear to be compressed causing the pain and symptoms.A consultation with a neurosurgeon would help, avoid forward bending, lose excess weight if obese, physiotherapy and use of medicines like Pregabalin/gabapentin would help in the neurogenic pain.Oral steroids may help reduce any oedema and local inflammation.Analgesic drugs would help reduce the pain.
