Suffering From Typhoid Fever, Leg Pain. Taking Antibiotics, Paracetamol, Fever Not Coming Down
hi i am indian staying in delhi my wife suffered from typhoid fever and its being fourth day that her fever is ranging between 102- 103 degrees. she is continoulsy taking paracetamol along with antibiotic inder doctor supervision but fever is not coming down. she suffered from legs pain on the first day nut now she is having fever and feeling weakness.

How was the typhoid diagnosed?
If it was widal then what were the titres?
If its not getting better even after 4 days of antibiotics then either it is not typhoid or you need to increase the antibiotics in either dosages or in efficacy.
Ceftriaxone 2gm 12 hrly is the proper dose that would be needed for enteric fever
