Suffering With Epilepsy. Taking Vinlep 300 And Deanxit Nexito Plus. Dosage For The Given Medicine? Is Epillepsy Curable?

my wife and son is suffering with eppilepsy since 28 and 10 year respectively. following medicines are currently been taken by my wife: vinlep 300 vinlep 150 deanxit nexito plus and vinlep 600 cloba 10 are being taken by my son. are these medicinal doses are correct or they should take some other medicines...?? is epillepsy curable??

Thank you for posting your query.

Epilepsy is a chronic disease and it requires medications for a long time, even lifelong in some cases.

Epilepsy is not curable, but it can be well controlled with medications.

Vinlep (oxcarbazepine) and cloba (clobazam) are good medications for treating epilepsy. They should be continued for long.

Deanxit is used for treating anxiety and nexito plus is used for treating depression. You may discuss the requirement of these medicines with your doctor.
