Suggest OTC Medication For Persistent Cough
I know I have some type of bronchi infection. I am taking penicillin 500mg per day and while all the other miserable symptoms are subsided, I still have this cough with leaves me short of breath. Is there an over the counter cough medicine I can take to calm this cough?

You should get X ray chest/ blood counts/ sputum culture done.. followed by specific antibiotic treatment along with other drugs as per a physician's advise.
A chronic illness also needs nutritious diet with high proteins, vitamins, iron, minerals to improve healing.
