i went to the hospital the doctor said i have shingles he gave me valacycloir 500mg seemed to be helping the shingles but was still getting sores. started on the top of my left but cheeck then moved down latteral and went to side of leg near bikini area now tgey r moving around and its at the top in the middle of my seasection scar and they r moving down in a row i need to know if this is common and how long do these sores keep appearing?
It is a viral infection and doesn't have a specific cure. You have taken antivirals so good decision. To relieve pain you can use paracetamol or ibuprofen. Shingles needs time to recover. After a week to 10 days after full fluid blister appears the blisters dry up and crust over. A couple of weeks later, the scabs clear up.
