Suggest A Non-benzo Family Medication For Anxiety

I take pain meds for pain but I also have high anixizy so I take clonipin also my pain doctor does not want me to take the benoas he calls it but there are days I have to take it . I try to take it only when I really need it but he still complains so I am trying to find something that is not in the benso family.

Antidepressants,antihistamines, beta-blockers, and anticonvulsants all have demonstrated efficacy in controlling anxiety.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-relieve tension with vigorous exercise or massage.
-Practice relaxation techniques.
-Get enough rest.
-Practice healthy thinking and stop negative thoughts.
-Avoid alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, and nicotine.
