Suggest A Remedy For Red Rashes With Swelling Around The Anus Of An Infant
My son is 2 weeks old.I could see redness and light swelling near anus.and he keeps passing loose stools little little many times.he is on breast feed.I used sebamed daiper rash cream and Himalaya daiper rash cream, which didn't help.can u suggest what to use to reduce this rash near anus.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have red rashes with swelling around the anus of an infant. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query . but in your case the symptoms are probably due to diaper rashes . But there can be other reasons also like chafing dermatitis , candidal dermatitis or perianal dermatitis. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe anti bacterial , anti allergic or anti fungal depending upon the diagnosis along with anti inflammatory . For now change diapers as soon as you know they are wet , gently clean the area with warm water or continue apply a protective diaper rash cream.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
