Suggest A Safe And Effective Contraceptive Pill

Hello good day! Since i've been a working mom,i can't find time to go on check up in the OB so I searched and found this site.

So here it is. I'm looking for a contraceptive pill that suits me. In that, i will not gain weight and will protect me from unwanted pregnancy. Kindly give me a piece of advice on what will I take. Thank you in advance! ☺

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
You could take femilon pill, this is a type of combined contraceptive pill. Each pill contains hormone progesterone & estrogen in a very small dose. These pills should be taken once daily at approximately same time of day for 21 days starting from 1st day of menstruation bleeding (you could also start these from 2nd to 5th day of menestruation but you have to use condoms for 1st week) & then stoppage of pills for 7 days. In these 7 days you will have your periods. Start taking the pills again after a 7 day gap.
These pills are very effective way of preventing unwanted pregnancies.

There are some conditions in which use of these pills are not indicated as follow.
1. If you are smoking, obese or have high blood pressure & are more than 35 years of age.
2. If you have high cholesterol or are suffering from any previous heart disease.
3. If you have family history of deep vein thrombosis, valvular heart disease or Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)

Refer to a gynaecologist, before starting femilon if you have mentioned diseases
Hope this information helps
