Suggest Alternative Medication For Pantoprazole To Treat Hiatus Hernia

Hi I suffer from a hiatus hernia and have been prescribed pantaprazole 40 mg twice a day I don t find any relief and the pain has got worse I am 75 yrs old I was just wondering is there any other medication I could try thank you in advance of your reply

I really appreciate your concern, Pantoprazole is the PPI (Proton pump inhibitor ) and not the pain medicine so it may not educe the pain, if this is the pain condition with hiatus hernia then it has to be managed accordingly the best option is surgery hope this information helps.
