Suggest Alternative Treatment For Vitiligo Patches
Dear Dr. Prasad, I have been suffering from Vitiligo patches for more than 25 years. Those patches were stable. Those patches are located on joints like both knees, both elbows and both thighs. Last eight years, i am on homeopathic medicine and still there is no substantial change in these patches. In last two years, i have lost my sister and father and now i am seeing much more faint patches (which possibly can grow in dark white). I am really worried, nervous and depressed. Can you please tell me what shall I do? Thank you for your opinion in advance.
Cannot say in your particular case without directly being there, and
1) a medicine that both has zero scientific basis and zero effect is not worth spending a dime/rupee/peso/sheckle on (when you could be spending your money here and getting first rate information!).
2) vitiligo is hard to treat. The pigment cells are gone forever and so correcting the color isn't going to be through a medical intervention to get back these cells.
3) "I am really worried, nervous and depressed." is not associated with vitiligo, and is often a reason to seek medical/counseling/spiritual help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
