Suggest An Alternative Medication For Metroprolol

thanks for your help! i have supraventricular tachycardia and i m taking Metroprolol (sp?). It definitely helps with my symptoms but i have terrible nightmares if i have a drink that day. I like to have a glass of wine once in a while but don t want to face those terrible nightmares. Is there another drug i could take that doesn t prompt the bad reaction?

instead of metoprolol you can take propranolol(INDERAL)...IT HAS SAME ACTION AS metaprolol...you can try taking this tablet instead if this....you can ask ur consultant cardiologist regarding this...I hope this will be helpful...
