Suggest An Alternative Medicine To Zolpidem

My prescription plan will know longer cover Zolpidem. I have trouble sleeping without it. The plan is now suggesting I take Trazodone HCL. The Zolpidem is 10 mg., and it works for me, I usually get six hours sleep, and I am happy with that. What do you know about Trazodone HCL.

Trazodone is primarily an antidepressant drug. Its side effect of inducing sleep is used to treat insomnia.
The other common side effect is orthostatic hypotension.
Otherwise the drug is relativel safe.
It is used in dosea to 25-50mg for insomnia.
