Suggest An Antibiotic For Dog Bite On The Toe

I had a bite from a small dog on my toe and a day later my foot enlarged and became inflamed and very painful. Having taken Zinodol a couple of years ago to which I had a very bad reaction,unable to breath and dizzy feelings I was worried about taking antibiotics.The hospital doctor prescribed Klaricid and they seem to be reducing the inflammation and pain. Is there any other antibiotics I should avoid in the future/

Please take rabies injections if the dog is not injected with it that is. It is of utmost importance.
